Truly. I just updated the blog from WordPress 2.8 to 3.0. It doesn’t look like anything’s broken, but drop me a line if you have any problems. (And yes, I finally found my webhost’s automated “update” button. So after having manually updated WordPress once, I need never do so again.)
(Why up this early? Want to get ahead of the back-to-school shopping this morning.)
… to see if Facebook will pick up my blog postings correctly.
The page contents (above links “About,” “Gaming”, and “Flying”) now have their text content in place. I have to add a couple pictures and figure out how to link up all the files. Still, that’s progress. Of sorts.
I’m “Bob Portnell” on Facebook now. Which means, I suppose, I need to find a decent face pic of myself. Bleah.
It was probably pretty rude of me to take all my webpages down without warning. I apologize.
But then it’s not like more than 10 people read this anyway.
So, the WordPress installation is up and running, and the old SPM entries have been imported. (Alas, they’re all under the same category: SPM. Comments and pictures didn’t make it, but we’ll sort that out later.)
I’ll add some pages here, and retire the ones in my old web area, once I figure out what I want to say and what files I want to continue sharing. Expect MUCH-reduced web content.
